Sibylle Fendt: After eight years of working mostly on my own, I'm looking forward to being part of a community, to the exchange between the members, to collective projects and to having a share in the further development of the agency.

From 1956 to 1990 it was published every two months in an edition of 200.000 copies, which used to run immediately out of stock. Until 1995 it was available all over Germany. The magazine's success is referred to its aspiration to combine fashion, photography and culture.
Three of OSTKREUZ' founding members, Sibylle Bergemann, Ute and Werner Mahler, are among the photographers who shaped the particular aesthetics of the magazine.

Books - Andrej Kremenschouk - Come Bury Me
23.07.2010 | | Books/ExhibitionsAfter winning this year's German photo book prize in silver with his book No Direction Home, our photographer Andrej Krementschouk is now busy printing his new book Come Bury Me. The setting of this story is a dilapidated old cottage in the center of a small Russian town, where a group of homeless people have created a home for themselves at the edge of society.
The book will be published by Kehrer in August 2010.
