The dialogical exhibition "Kein schöner Land" contrasts the comprehensive work "Kleinstadt" by Ute Mahler and Werner Mahler with the series "Hinterland" by Hans-Christian Schink. What images do we keep of the fall of the Wall thirty years later? The exhibition "A City between Times" brings together three independent photographic works. With "Living Together" Ute Mahler draws a private panorama of the former GDR society. Werner Mahler captured the events of 9 November and Maurice Weiss captured the beginning of the 1990s, when the city of Berlin underwent a transformation. Maurice Weiss will be present at the vernissage.

30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the 22 photographers of the agency OSTKREUZ have been invited for a personal inventory of Germany. They photographed, each in their own way, a theme that seems to them emblematic of today's Germany. A sensitive look at German society in 2019, as well as a unique, experimental encounter between photography and television. At the beginning of the evening there will be an introduction by director Paul Ouazan (Atelier de recherche d'ARTE France) and OSTKREUZ photographer Jörg Brüggemann. The exhibition "The Medea Uprising: Radical Women Artists behind the Iron Curtain" shows works by Eastern European women artists who expressed their dissatisfaction with the authoritarian system before 1989 in their works, which have references to ancient mythology.
