05/10/2023 Sibylle Fendt - Exhibition in Toronto and Washington, D.C.

Sibylle Fendt is known for her medium-format, analogue works. The Goethe-Institut Toronto, Canada, currently presents her latest artist portraits and offers encounters with Peaches, Pussy Riot, Kis'Keya, Danielle de Picciotto and many others. The photographer portrays personalities she appreciates for their distinctive style and courageous choices - all united by a feminist stance. Her solo exhibition explores the topics of gender justice, diversity and portraiture, offering exceptional views of positions with a clear stance that inspire you to shape your own.
The Goethe-Institut Toronto presents Sibylle Fendt's exhibition "(Almost) Everyone anyone" as the main exhibition of the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival. The Toronto presentation will be followed by an exhibition at the Goethe-Institut Washington D.C. as part of the Focus on the Story Festival from 2 June.
